Scope of Works:

This £345,000 fast track contract for Portsmouth City Council was completed in just seven weeks during July & August 2013 and involved the complete fit out of a shell and core ground floor of Ark Royal House, recently constructed social housing accommodation in central Portsmouth. The works included a complete Mechanical & Electrical installation, suspended ceilings, floor insulation & screed, internal partitions & dryling, shop-fronts and external doors, joinery fit out, floor coverings and decorations.

As well as creating fabulous new offices and meeting rooms for the Bureau, another ground floor section of the building was also fitted out to a slightly more basic specification. This was in readiness for letting as a bicycle hire sales and maintenance retail unit, in an ideal location fronting the busy Winston Churchill Avenue along which thousands of students pass by daily.

In keeping with its name, Ark Royal House played host to the Princess Royal when she visited in October 2013, to officially open the new Bureau in her capacity as Patron.
