A few changes have taken place since our last newsletter. We have lost 2 members of staff who have gone on to pursue different career paths and we have new 2 new recruits in the form of Dennis Oldcorn , Estimator/Quantity Surveyor and Sue Saunders our new office administrator and purchase ledger clerk.
We have now completed the 7 projects we had on site for Whitbread including the completion of
2 brand new hotels in Exmouth & Chelmsford pictures of which will soon be seen on our new website which is currently under construction.
We are due to hand over this week a brand new Toby Inn pub and restaurant to our new client Mitchell and Butler pictures of this will also be found on our new website. And we have secured business with another new client to build 11 new flats in the Portsmouth area.
Our success in carrying out the alterations and refurbishment to sheltered accommodation at Tweed Court in Havant has led us into securing 2 further projects in Warren Park and Waterlooville, these phased works which are currently on site will complete in 2016.
The company has celebrated 21 years of trading and a few pictures can be seen on this letter of our celebration evening. This evening coincided with a break in our freelance project manager Paul Ridout yearâ€™s sabbatical where he has been keeping us updated with news and photographs from his travels in China, India, and Thailand and enabled him to join us for this special evening. He is currently on the last leg of his tour in Europe and will be re-joining us in September.
Vales have recently had their own baby boom with the birth of Cat Mayâ€™s daughter Mollie this month, Karenâ€™s twin grandchildren Nancy and Noah who were born in April and the imminent birth of Martinâ€™s new grandchild the 1st for his daughter Rebecca.
