Project Description: Alterations & Extensions
Location: East Horsley, Leatherhead
Project Value: £220K
Programme: 12 weeks
Form of Contract: None
This project was negotiated with the Client following recommendations from the Project Architect, Mike Wilson.
The works involved major reconfiguration of the Front Façade of the Property to provide an architectural feature of an Oak Frame central Gable End over the main entrance and matching Tiled Gable Ends either side.
In addition to improving the Front Elevation , the work involved extending the ground and first floors and remodelling these areas to provide an improved and increased living area.
The Main Entrance hallway now has an upper gallery and an extra bedroom has been created in the previous roof space.
There were quite severe challenges during construction to remove sections of the Roof and have these rebuilt in a live environment. We erected a Temporary Roof which proved its worth during the course of the Project.
This work was carried whilst the Client and family remained in occupation and by working together we maintained a good working relationship with the family and the Final Account was amicably agreed on completion.
