â€¢ Collaborative working
We pride ourselves in a good working relationship with the Design Team and Client. Problems are acted upon proactively by the relevant member of Vales Building Team to ensure best solutions found.
â€¢ Cash efficiencies for Client
Even though the project was a simple construction extension, we reviewed all aspects of the project to suggest any savings that could have been achieved without any compromise to the overall client requirements and specification.
â€¢ Adding non-cash value for the Client
We took an active role in liaising with the Head Teacher on a daily basis to ensure there was no disruption to the school from any noise pollution or work operations.
â€¢ Project Team Reviews
Due to the short duration of the project, fortnightly site meetings were held to ensure that all risks or problems were identified and a solution sought to ensure that the School was not disrupted.
â€¢ Subcontractor & Suppliers
We use subcontractors and suppliers that we have built up a relationship with over a number of years. All 12 subcontractors used have worked with Vales on previous similar projects. Regular meetings are held on site to ensure standards and co-ordinate works.
â€¢ Benefits to the local economy
We utilise local subcontractors and suppliers where possible. On this project ,5 of the 12 subcontractors used were from the local area, and all suppliers were local to the area.
â€¢ Programme & completion deadlines
Due to variations, the project had an Extension of Time granted. The project was delivered on time to the new revised dates. Where necessary, weekends were worked to minimalize programme period.
â€¢ Customer Care in occupied premises.
We always comply with our Customer Care Policy and ensure all works are carried out in a controlled manner and adequate protection is put in place to prevent any damage occurring to existing finishes.
